Medium ruby hue with slight bricking at rim. Fragrant bouquet of dark cherries, licorice, leather, and rose petals. On the palate the vibrant, youthful red fruit is framed by good acidity and prominent, silky tannins with no discernible heat despite the surprising 15.2% alcohol. Drinking well now and would appear to have life yet in front of it.
