Nose has that classic confectionary Sangiovese fruit. Cherry flower, cherry spice, herbs and lovely earthy aromas. Great mint as well. Also some Valhrona chocolate. Palate is rich and linear with lovely freshness, acids and depth. A very clean wine and superb length. Great delineation, purity and balance. Good tannic structure for short term aging. Maybe even mid term aging.

Gorgeous nose of melted milk chocolate and mid season ripe cherries. Super mineral and a sense of aromatic refinement while also being expansive and broad. Tows the line. Wow, concentrated with tiny cherry fruit intensity and lively minerality that gives this amazing freshness. Sappy and pure. The most Brunello of all the Forte wines. Like a baby brunello and a killer deal. Lovely Tuscan acid and earth on the finish

Wow this is excellent. Had this bottle about 18 months ago and thought it was too oaky - but absolutely delicious tonight. Perfect pairing with roasted sausages with peppers and onions. Balanced tannins, great acid, quite complete on the palate. Very nice. Decanted 2 hours.

Nice Sangiovese. Oak is there but nicely integrated. Cherry liqueur.

Clean, crisp and delicious. What a wonderful expression of the fruit. It's too difficult to find Sangiovese like this.
And not only organic but from what I read they grow bio-dynamically

For a Sangiovese that’s not “ super Tuscan”, there is evident oak. But this Jr.* package is finely knit, all in balance.
Lots of chocolate, mint, leather, dark cherries and oak tannins seductively put together. More of an adventure for those with some Sangiovese experience than an introduction. With Chicken livers & Garam Masala very nice.
Thanks, @FassSelections

Disappointed overall. A surprising amount of newish oak overpowers most of the other aromas and flavors on both the nose and the palate. Still has some nice berry fruit and a long finish with balanced acid. Nice pairing with pork chops.
