Bright Ruby with aromas of dark fruits, spices, oak and floral notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and plum with notes of herb pepper, tobacco, cedar and cacao. Long finish, nice balance with fine soft tannins, ending with oak and earthy notes. Good now but a few more years in the bottle will not hurt!

Fresh strawberries that literally disintegrate into leather dust. Like a mirage. Thanks Nebbiolo for teasing me…. This wine is so dry. Basil leaf, crushed herbs. Pair with a Pekingese. They seem little, sweet, and goofy, but historically they used to hide in the sleeves of the Chinese emperors and courtiers to attack people they felt threatened by…. That’s this wine.

Classic Barolo! Medium (barely see through) ruby color. Beautiful floral (rose petals & violets) aromas along with ripe cherry/berry and herbs. Darker and dried fruits on the pallet with touches of chocolate, spices, orange zest, asphalt and smoke. Full bodied and round with soft (but well structured) tannins. Beautifully balanced, layered and harmonious. A great example of the “King,” which should only improve with additional bottle age. Thank You Keith S! Fantastic! Revisited with Keith S in November 2024. Hitting its sweet spot. Beautiful!

Tasted feb 2021. Nice light red. Light dry body with fruity flavors. Very nice drinker, not too acidic. Certainly a nice bottle of wine maybe a bit expensive for me tho. 4/4

God, mycket smak, mjukt rött vin.
Inte jättemustigt men ändå mer åt det hållet. Luktar väldigt gott.
