Pierrick Bouley
Bourgogne Cote d'Or Pinot Noir
No notes, sorry.
12.5H drive to the Chicago suburbs to spend some time with my in-laws for Thanksgiving week, best traffic ever, practically none until the Illinois/Indiana line.

Little 18’s rock! Huge nose of just such dazzling pure mid season cherry fruits. Joyful. Loads of spice and stones. Really pretty and so aromatic. Elegant and pure with lovely, vivacious red cherry fruit and terrific freshness and energy. Velvety tannins and engaging sweetness. A great wine.

Feb 23rd, 2021Gorgeous nose. Amazingly detailed cherry fruit. Sappy raspberry. Floral. Spice. So vivid. This is killer. Deep and impactful aroma. Great palate. So deep and juicy. Slate like tannins. Big and ripe and structured as is the Bouley style but will flesh out over the next two hours. Very elegant and as it opens just ridiculous fruit. @Delectable Wine it’s A new appellation “Bourgogne Côte d’Or.”

Apr 22nd, 2020Tasted the 2018 and threw it away before I took a photo of the label. So I took a photo of the 2017 and edited over it 😆 All cranberries and spice here! Would be amazing with Thanksgiving food.

1 person found it helpfulDec 6th, 2020Man. I really like this. A great example of what it is.
Nose is fresh crushed grapes in your hand. Some earth. Library book. As this opens licorice flower.
Palate is so fresh. Some lovely bitterness. Amazing texture. So fresh in such a grapey way. This Burrgundian sweetness.
The wine they serve by the glass in God’s Bistro. Man. I’d pay $1,000 to have this with some lentils and saucison lail right fucking now.
For what this is , it’s a 10/10.
