Love this vintage for PYCM. One of my absolute favorites. Unlike the far too often advanced 2010, 2011 is incredibly youthful, vibrant and to be incredibly long lived, and tonight it’s gorgeous after a lengthy decant wafting layers of yellow fruit, toast, marzipan and pastry cream. The palate gains in richness, weight and texture with air and shows stunning fruit purity, elegance and minerality which gives way to a long, racy finale. Love PYCM ❤️

Jan 13th, 2024I’ve always found young PYCM to be inviting and engaging. The wood sticks out a bit and there is a fat, round, forward feel to the fruit. Less energetic than I’ve come to expect from PYCM, but still quite pleasing.
