The nose was a bit muted until about hour 2 in the decanter. More rewarding on the palate and continued to become more expressive over time, and as its reduction blew over. Asian pear, citrus blossoms, hints of mandarin orange and a spice tinged finish. Lots of tension and racy acidity holds it all together. Last 3rd of the bottle was the best.

Young but superb—needs more time to stretch out a bit. Adjacent to Batard and from old vines. A PYCM favorite.
