Grande Réserve Alsace Gewurztraminer

Medium lemon with pronounced stone fruit, citrus aromas with floral blossoms and slight petrol notes. On the palate flavors of pineapple, apricot and lime citrus with vivid acidity, minerality, spice and floral notes. Medium finish ending dry with fruit and smoky notes.

Clean, medium lemon color, sweet stone fruit aromas with floral notes. On the palate peach, apricot, tropical and grapefruit flavors with generous spice. Medium body finishes crisp with medium sweetness and soft fruit and spice tones.

Lemony, sweet-ish but not overly so, not tart. It has an interesting character/depth that I find really enticing. I loved this for Thanksgiving. Suggested by Ian at Pamplemousse.

Too sweet for me

Lovely apricot nose to start, then rose petals and more apricot. There's a nice warmness to this wine.

Tropical fruit, canned pear, honey, and rose water. Too sweet and unstructured for me.

Really not my kind of wine. Reona quite liked and gave 8.8.

Lovely floral and gooseberry notes. On the palate the same with hints of honey aromas and a nice balance of acidity.

We've been drinking a Napa Valley gewurtztriminer all summer, so compared with that this wine is more balanced. Less acid and not as tart. Sweet, but not cloying.
