Tasty and expressive. Bright enough to handle oysters but rich enough to enjoy alone after they’ve all been eaten. Wild strawberry on the nose and a creamy palate with a dry lingering finish. Got this for my wife for Valentine’s day but will pick this up again.

The Bouzy rouge for this excellent rose Champagne comes from a little clos in the square of the winery. It is very dry and serious, yet flexible enough to go with oysters on the first day and bistro sausage the next!

A rosé that is made mostly with Chardonnay, pale pink color, smells of both Roquefort and hard aged cheese, strawberry and cotton candy, nice mousse with good acidity, tastes of yeast, Fino Sherry, bitter lemon, lime zest, mineral and green olive, smooth finish with complex finish, a bitter undertone aftertaste.
