Clos des Goisses Champagne Blend

Golden in color. Hints of toast and nuts. Dried apricot and honey but still has some slate and a fine lemon acidity to brighten. A great time to drink this as it has the vibrancy of youth but the complexity of age. Great detail and texture. Lovely

Intense and steely. A touch of red cherry with great acidity and a healthy dose of salinity. Tightly wound right now but great material here. A huge upside in the future.

Fresher in the palate than the nose. Some berry light sherried notes but a complex and tasty midpalate. Good

Pale gold. A haunting nose with biscuit, apricot, a lovely underlying minerality. Resolved. Subtle and delicious. Very good indeed

Medium gold color, nice energy in the glass with constant fine bubbles. Toasty nose with notes of quince, breadbox, some citrus and some sweetness. Complex in the mouth, lots going on with good fruit and acidity. Short finish. In a good spot.

nutty notes, soft lemon, yeasty. Hints of age. Great balance. Really refined and delicious

2005 vintage. Dégorgement March 2014. Pinot Noir (65%) and Chardonnay (35%). Dosage 4,5 g/l. 19030 bottles produced. Lovely layered Champagne combining creaminess and steely acidity. Beautiful now, but remains very young.

Very intense and focused. Tightly wound with slate, tingling acidity, light lemon. Not showing much right now but tastes pretty classy

Pale gold in color. Some secondary notes coming through… caramel, straw, honey, sweet with a lovely steely undertow. Beautifully poised. Delicious.

A powerful and decadent Clos Des Goisses drinks more like a still wine and it really stains the pallet . Serious juice !
