Beautiful brick red color, cherries, earth, fine tannins, elegant. Excellent Nebbiolo. $40.

Brick red, light body. Dried cherry, lots of graphite, rose petals. Floral and aromatic when first uncorked, but blows over relative quickly. A whiff of ripe banana?

Riserva 2010
You might mistake this for burg.
Reddish brown rim towards more ruby center.
N: Chocolate, Cola, Autumn leaves, def needs coaxing.
P:Tobacco, burnt oranges, caramel, this is not the brightest of wines, very delicate, Chamboille like. Three years in big wood sawed off any rough edges.
Opens as it sits. Definitely a high altitude woodland Nebbiolo.
Finesse.

Punchy acid balanced by earth, wet leaves, leather and tobacco. Dried fruit and black fruits along with some bright and ripe red fruits. Was good with venison with a red currant and port sauce but wants something gamier or more herbaceous as a pairing.
