Strawberry, tart cherry, yogurt, lemon zest, honey on the nose. The Yquem barrel aging really comes through. Medium acidity, creamy and medium full body, lots of chalkiness and mineral notes on the palate. Really well balanced. Probably my favorite rose I’ve tasted, and certainly not stereotypical. — 3 years ago

Very pleasant and balanced. Great value. Manages to pack the best traits of both Sangiovese and Grenache into the same bottle. — 3 years ago

Some meatiness, dried herbs, tart cherry, a bit of prune as well, some pepper. Medium high tannin, good acidity, some great wood characteristics on the palate, clove, pepper again. Was stellar with venison. — 3 years ago

Cranberry, tart cherry, thyme, clay, a touch of jammier ripe fruit on the nose. More of the herbs on the palate. Soft and light tannins and bracing acidity. Pleasantly enduring finish. With some herbed chicken and roasted vegetables was perfect. — 4 years ago

I was really loving this up front but as it opened and warmed a bit the oak took over. Not particularly well integrated. Would be interested to see if it holds up a couple years and evolves but right now a bit much for me. — 3 years ago

Honey, apricot, rose blossom and lemon curd on the nose. Dry and with crisp acidity. Medium body and soft mouthfeel, an additional element of subtle minerality on the palate. Excellent foil for a spicy seafood pasta. Also excellent value. — 4 years ago
