Fun. Moon Mountain terroir and Italian sensibilities. Sangiovese that's worth a shot. To be paired with spicy bolognese and hearty laughter. Just like Lorenzo would have wanted. #moonmountaindistrict

New world, why not. One of the most unique noses I have every sniffed.

Blackberry, raspberry, currant, mossy earth, licorice and oak. Great structure and moderate tannins.

Very good, but expensive relative to quality.

Grape Jam on the nose. Current, green fig and a hint of earthiness.

I thought this was a fine Barolo/Barbaresco/Bordeaux. Unaffected. Just classic in proportion of flavors. Balanced and sharp. And there is grape. Do not trust the low pro ratings.

One of the best, if not the best, wines I've ever had. At L'Angolo with Caesar salad, shrimp with farro, shrimp and mushroom pappardelle and braciola wrapped in prosciutto and smoked mozzarella.
