'Ma Belle-Fille' Chardonnay

Showed great after several hours of decanting. Tropical fruit, melon, honey do and butter.

9 years old. And shows.

Just delicious. One of the best Chardonnays I've had.

Peter Michael Chardonnay Ma Belle-Fille 2007: a voyage on Complexity Airlines, with a Chardonnay-based crew serving up a first-class trip through peaches, chamomile, and toasty oak. A best-in-fleet wide-body Cali Chard, with ample creaminess counterbalanced by citric snap, finishing with a sky-wide vapor trail of spice.

Not bad bit too much oak in the finish. Great nose of spice and body is filled with green apple, pear and Mellon notes.

Сливочное масло, круассан, желтые яблоки, леденцы, желтый грейпфрут, сухое манго, чуть солоноватое послевкусие, в развитии ноты жженой карамели, крем-брюле. Увесисто, жирно, со средней, но живой кислотностью и чуть спиртуозным носом. Мощно, прямолинейно, с беззастенчивой бочкой, напористо и атлетично, но немного утомительно, без большой глубины.

Definitely one of the best Chardonnays I've had. The 2007 is amazing.

Absolutely Devine Chardonnay. Velvety butter and great acidity balance. Incredible legs. The smell is really hard for@me@to pin down - new spring maple leaf and summer ocean air randomly come to mind - don't even ask. I don't know why.
