Pale Lemon in colour. Aromas of talc, grapefruit pith and some white florals and a little herb. On the palate lemony citrus grapefruit flavours but not the searing acid of its youth. Starting to develop nicely and filling out the mid palate with toasty flavours. Will go on for a few more years. 2011 was a dreadful year for reds in South Australia with a wet vintage but the whites fared much better.

Fantastic exemplar of the varietal. Not normally a Riesling drinker, this was a deeply pleasant surprise

Aug 4th, 2016Just a hint of kerosene on the nose, her palest of apple fruits and a touch of acidity. This has aged very well and with some good weight in the mouth, a fine example of mature Aussie Riesling.
