Had this about 2 years ago, and found another bottle. From a small producer, 100% Grand Cru Chardonnay grapes, straw with golden edges with stone and tropical fruit aromas, tiny bubbles and a nice rich mousse. The palate shows ripe fruits, peach, pear & mango with underlining sweetness. Medium finish, crisp, ending with fruit and mineral tones. Aged well. Good for price.

1 person found it helpfulJan 10th, 2016A blanc de blancs from the great year of -08; not a very typical BdB as the color was golden, bubbles were large and numerous, and the nose included oranges, red apples, nougat, and white toast; of the taste I would have guessed a brut or even a blanc de noirs from the rich flavours and aromas of red fruit, choclate and nuts. Nice surprise at Richard Juhlin's champagne bar in Stockholm.

Feb 16th, 2017I was really excited for this, but I've gotta say that I was a bit disappointed. The '05 was so leasy, creamy, and stunning.. this '07 didn't hold up. Still very fresh and elegant in style, but not nearly as complex. Perhaps it just needs some more time to come into its own.

Nov 29th, 2016Anniversary wine part 1 - delicious but a slight balance issue, may be better without food. Still great acid and a clean finish. Did like other “lesser” offerings from this producer more.

May 20th, 2018Fairly rich, a little nutty with a little honey balanced by a lemon tartness on the finish and a bit of sweetness. Not bad at all.

Dec 31st, 2017Strong straw flavors with a hint of berries. Great RM.

Nov 6th, 2016This has a darker complexion than I expected but it's in a lovely spot right now. Poached pear and apple aromas and a bit of buttery croissant. It's got just enough of an oxidative note to be mature, not old. Honey on the finish.
