Alcohol on the nose, but not on the taste. Hints of chocolate on the tongue in a less tanic Sangiovese. Since we drink primarily red and had turbot tonight, surprisingly great pairing with fish, more like a pinot/Burgundy. — 2 years ago

Solid SA entry. I’m a fan of Cab Franc and this 53% CF, 20% Malbec, 18% CS, 7% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot blend was an interesting one. — a year ago
Italian wines always taste better in Italy. Praiano is a less crowded version of Positano and Pasquallino is Praiano’s best chef run restauranteur. Last year, we helped him and his friend sync their new speaker with their phone. Molto bravi! This 2015 Barolo is the same. — 2 years ago

Have been looking for good Sicilaians to add to the repertoire. Our waiter tonight recommended this ‘Bordeaux like’ blend from Sicily and it did not disappoint. — 2 years ago

Collin says raspberry, I say it’s red. Doesn’t dry out the mouth with tannis like a lot of CFs, probably due to age and lack of decantation. Great everyday red. — 7 months ago
