This one is just too young. Opened up after about 4 hours of air. Needs another day or two of being open. A ton of herbal notes on the nose, pepper, a little floral, a little tobacco. Not a ton of fruit. Palate is peppery with some bright fruit, more herbal, berries. Overall this wine is really good, but I'm sure it needs a few more years in bottle.

Deep anise, tobacco and tar with dense but soft structure. Drinking great with veal and truffled cheese!

Wow! Surprising length, savory quality and red fruit despite heavy bricking. Certainly at its peak but very enjoyable.

Popped and decanted at a restaurant. Dark brooding color. The nose is singing right off the bat with black fruit, menthol and old wood notes. Not as good in the finish as it is in the nose.
