Sep 7th, 2017The 2011 is chewy in a good way, like I wish I was having steak with this wine instead of pizza.

Sep 19th, 2022Just good everyday wine, good on its own or with food. Dry, full bodied, medium plus tannings, medium alcohol, some raisiny red fruit and dark chocolate on the mid palate with a massive gripping finish. For the price, there are very few wines out there as good as this. Snatch it up.

Sep 9th, 2022Nice Sangiovese from Montecucco. Dark berries, plums, chocolate. Grippy tannins but nice dinner finish. Very enjoyable. Montecucco is a relatively new wine region in Italy that was somewhat hard to find when I visited a few years ago because it wasn't on any maps. Good adventure and good value. @Gregory McCardle
