Oct 18th, 2020Opened nicely and I feel the aging helped it become a larger more bread forward and some lactic notes as well. It ended very weak and lost most of it structure.

Aromas and flavors remind me of dried apple, pear tart, brioche, croissant, crushed white rose petals, blanched almonds, marzipan, and cream. Rich on the palate, yet also light and ethereal.

Jan 2nd, 2017Very few bottles of wine have impressed me more than this. Near perfect on all fronts. The mousse is so creamy and has a rich yeasty texture, yet is balanced by an underlying freshness. The quality of the 2004 vintage in Champagne shines through this wine. What a treat.
