2006 vintage - tasted blind as the second Penley for the night - great fruit & oak balance - lovely Cabernet with years ahead of it

A really well done Cabernet, vibrant red berry fruit, firm acidity and peppery spice leading to a long finish loaded with smooth, mouth coating, toasty tannins. A whole lot of wine for $16. Balanced, distinct and worth buying more!

As wonderful and well-made as this wine is, hell will need to be frosty for me to love a Cabernet.
