After some time to breath the wine opens up nicely, red fruit, some spice. Nice longer finish.

Haven’t had a MAX’S for awhile. This bottle was a straight Cabernet Sauvignon vs. a blend. Really enjoyed this bottle with a ribeye. I have lots more bottles of this vintage.

Dry and bold, tobacco peppery oak and mildly herbs on palate while all black dark berries and plums alongside, blackberries 🍇 standard and firm on palate, keep its note to finishing, aftertaste consistent, silky and smoothly, a winter red for good, on a visiting-mom Wednesday this time at home, thanks for their time and welcoming and cook-at-home, everything
