Private Reserve Niagara Peninsula Cabernet Sauvignon

I like this wine, but I probably wouldn't buy a bottle. Nothing extremely impressive or satisfying about it.

Had a glass at the vineyard. A flavourful and enjoyable red

Honestly it's balanced wine. Lovely nose of red fruit and berries. The wine was a bit young. Would probably get a better rating if he aged more. The tannins were balanced though.

Soft. Still fruity. Ageing very well 👌

Enjoy slightly chilled on a fall afternoon.

Loving the cab francs right now. This one is good!

I have been buying Peller wines for a while and always enjoy them. I would certainly buy a Cabernet Franc before buying a Sauvignon from Niágara. I love strong/full body wines, usually found in Cabernet Sauvignon, what is not the case with this. So, to go in a light side, go with Franc.

A wonderful wine. You'll be hard pressed to find a bad 07 Niagara wine, one of the best vintages on record.

A tad chalky. Grade school style. Nothing spectacular. Average Cabernet.
