Not as oak forward as I remember when I bought at winery about 6 yrs ago. Taste notes of tobacco charcoal and cranberry. It drinks really smooth and has a slight pepper spice. I think it really mellowed out in the cellar but I could also forget what it tasted like.

Nov 9th, 20242014 - First tried in 2018, invested and two years later, appreciation and dividends; fruit forward bouquet and first impression, with long velvety tannins; up there with Fifty Fifty but mellower as their Cabs are less bold than their Merlots; both great; another winner from Peju!

Mar 27th, 2021First smell is noticeably briney & minerals. Bright, light red berry flavors, mineral, dry, some darker jam swirling around at the end. Contrast keeps it from being overly syrupy or astringent, even though dryness is a huge factor. Incredibly smooth in taste & texture. Drinking for Justin's birthday during an ice storm. From Peju visit/Napa trip 2019.
