Peju Persephone Vineyard Cabernet Franc 2005: Medium-bodied. Excellent balance. Silky integrated tannins. Elegant notes of black fruits, blueberry, cassis, cocoa and the right amount of oak. Smooth lingering finish. 100% estate grown, 100% pure satisfaction! The perfect wine selection for a great evening with friends. Still drinking well & delivering deliciousness after all these years. Great week to all! Cheers🍷 — 2 years ago
Kristina says it tastes good. Nice tannin bite at end. Dark fruit taste at the finish. $35 on vivino but $66 at total wine — 2 months ago
Paired great with spicy Chinese food. One of my favorite blends and great value. — 5 months ago
Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. This estate owes its name to Connetable Talbot, the English general & governor of the province of Guyenne who was defeated at the famous Battle of Castillon in 1453. Deep Ruby, purple hues, with aromas of black fruits, herb, tobacco and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of plums and black currants with cacao and tobacco spice, on a well balanced frame. Fine tight tannins, long finish ending with fruit, earthy spice and cedar character. Nice! — 10 months ago
Deep lemon with aromas of stone fruit, floral, spice and citrus, under went sur lie and French oak aging. On the palate apple flavors of melon and pear, with Meyer lemon zest, vanilla and toasty notes. Nice balance with bright acidity on long creamy finish, savory with citrus, spicy oak and mineral ending, very nice! — 5 months ago
Raspberry, strawberry, tobacco on the palate. Earthy though less so with air. At 5 years old, drink now. Was nice with beef fajitas. May 2024. — 7 months ago
Over two hours this pretty dense merlot opened into beautiful blue and red berry notes, with rustic tannins, deep but light all at once, very enjoyable for a young merlot. — 2 years ago

4th of the LB mystery chardo pack….very pleasant on the nose, quite buttery on the palate up front, no acidic or metallic twist at all, getting a lot of peach, but a bit dull on the back end. Punchier than the Sea Drift but similarly rated. — a month ago
