Crowd pleaser. Very easy drinking. Not as earthy as I tend to prefer but seems like it would be a great wine to serve that most could enjoy — 17 days ago
I quite enjoyed this wine, but difficult following up after an Opus One! — 3 months ago
Nice. Peppery. Like a good pomerol — 5 months ago
N: chocolate dipped cherries, red licorice, a few red flower petals.
P: a structured merlot w grippy tannins, surrounded by plush fruits, predominantly red with a little black, with a few blueberries mixed in. Tobacco, dark chocolate, pencil, and spice box.
had w salmon, mushrooms, and sweet potatoes in soy-honey glaze. Flavors generally worked but wine was little bit tannic for the salmon.

This year’s Kim Crawford: delightfully crisp, light acidity, fruity overtones — 4 months ago
Caiarossa is located in Riparbella, mid-Tuscany, Province of Pisa. The closeness to the sea has given this mix of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese and Alicante freshness, delicacy and elegance. Dark fruit flavoured, but not over the top. Excellent wine! — 4 months ago
At Lost Fire Restaurant, Cape Porpoise, ME., w Jeanne. Smooth, yummy Malbec from Neuquén Province. — 6 days ago
What a wine! Nicely preserve, tannin forward (needed to be aerated), went well with our red meat queso birria tacos! — 5 months ago
