I liked this better than the 2015 I had 2 years back. Salty and briny, good umami. Nice and oily, medium body and viscosity.

Lemons/limes, peaches and apricots but nice and dry. Big mineral and slight salty taste.

Another weekly wine Committee lunch that I was able to attend, hosted by @Weston Eidson & @Colby Siratt. Excellent job, fellas! All wines tasted blind as usual.

I believe this was my first Albariño, so it was hard to guess correctly here! Thought it was possibly an Alsatian Pinot Gris due to the oily and lengthy finish.

This Albariño shows lemon, lime and lanolin on the nose, with a whiff of apricot. The pale color is that of golden straw, and the palate comes forth with a mighty acidity and a mouthful of green apples, on the tart side. Minerality makes a big play, and the finish is medium-long with a citrus zestiness.

Very good Albarino. Drank it to a seared tuna. Super!

Really elegant white. Feels like it's holding back in just the right ways
