Calling all #organicwine lovers!
The team Cellarmasters are now offering an organic wine subscription ($120 4 times a year for 4 x 6 packs of organic vino) - you can read all about it in my latest blog post: https://travellingcorkscrew.com.au/blog/organic-wine-subscription/
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I gave a sample case a test run last week and this bottle of Now by Paxton Preservative Free 2017 Shiraz was one of the bottles.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This South Australian wine comes from the #McLarenVale wine region and not only is it certified organic, but it’s also a #preservativefreewine. Therefore it’s been made without the addition of sulphur dioxide or any other preservatives. But that’s not all! It’s also made by biodynamic farming practices 🌚
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
At 14% abv, I found it the perfect winter warmer. Yes, I may have sipped this one from the comfort of my bed whilst catching up on some reading.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In the glass, it’s a deep, dark garnet red. It’s wonderfully aromatic with voluptuous notes of candied fruits and spice rising up from the glass. In the mouth, it doesn’t disappoint with plentiful juicy plum flavours and a divine long finish.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine #cellarmasters

Blueberry, blackberry, violet, plum, and spice. Similar notes on the palate with almost a Christmas cake quality. Moderate acidity and smooth tannins. A little alcohol heat.
Good stuff best enjoyed with grilled meat.

Tasty raspberry flavors. Delicious with stuffed peppers.

May 14th, 2021Started off horrible. Like just another bloated and metallic Shiraz. Actually halfway decent though. Definitely boisterous and rich, but also has a plum pie finish and graceful tannin.
