This is a cuvée Costco brought in. Seems their availability to the same cuvées they used to bring in are simply MIA for some time…since champagne went up. Apparently, the price of fruit has risen quite a bit according to what the houses would say. It is a decent cuvée for the price point, $28.99.
This Blanc de Blanc shows some neutral wood use as it has hints of being oxidative in style. Bruised green & golden apple, lime zest, bruised pear, pineapple juice, squeezed lemon, kiwi, hints of white peach, white spice-ginger, mid grainy chalkiness, limestone marl, sea fossils & spray, baguette crust, some bread dough, decent acidity & o2 bubbles (especially since I had this stored for a few days sealed), jasmine, white & yellow lilies, good, yet un-dynamic finish that goes from juicy fruits to mineral spiciness.
