Big red, lots of raspberry and blueberry with black olive character. Needed 3+ hours to really open.

It’s a walk in the woods with a bowl of cherries. The nose presents with woods and earth. The palate brings forward subtle fruit notes. This is a complex beauty that paired perfectly with my rustic herb grilled whole chicken. While I’m generally not a huge fan of Syrah, this wine is wonderful.

Delicious! Blackberries, currant, and a little leather. Beautifully smooth and easy to drink. Full and soft in the mouth.

You ever meet that tomboy kind of girl and you can never see her as anything but a buddy but the one time she dresses up in a red satin dress with 4 inch heels you all of a sudden realize what kind of woman you’re dealing with? That is this wine.My first hermitage and it didn’t disappoint. Very masculine wine. Tight and expressive tannins with flavors of leather and cedar and dust. Opened up the smoky and dried meat flavors. Really enjoyed it, hopefully I get to try more of this style in the future.
