Domaine de Thalabert Crozes-Hermitage Syrah

Found a ‘10, Ruby with aromas of ripe dark fruits and perfumed spices. On the palate flavors of black cherry and plum with licorice, leather, spice and herb notes. Soft tannins, hints of oak on medium+ finish ending with fruit, herb and earthy mineral tones. Nice, still tasting well but starting to get tired! Drink now!

Biodynamic farmed, 60-80 years old vines, pebbles ended soil, 100 % Syrah. Aged in French oak, 20 % new. Green olive, black pepper first impression, beautiful Violet comes second, mostly with red and dark cherry note, black berry, mineral, warmth, lots of layers with dimensions. What a beautiful Syrah.

Insane for the money.

Was great but I bet for Sunday breakfast it was better, but Josh would know. It was still nice and tight with a classic Crozes profile

Ash, game, and a core of mineral. Much more dark and savory earth on this wine.
