Domaine de Terre Ferme Châteauneuf-du-Pape Grenache Blend

Features characteristic of a good Chateauneuf but too young. Needs a bit of time to mellow out, but wanted to see what it was like. Dark cherry initially, thick mouth feel with medium tannin, velvety finish. Will try next bottle in a few years.

Coffee grounds, black olives, BBQ smoked meat, dark cherry nose. Thick, broad, explosive. Wait til the alcohol blows off and it becomes much more approachable, like a beautiful women after 3 martinis.

2009 tasting great. Went perfect with the cassoulet

Interesting. :-). Pre moxy ish with that sherry kinda taste.

Grenache dominant crowd pleaser

Tasted kind of cooked really not that great.

Aromas of toast and brownies. A beautifully scented wine. Super smooth with very fine tannins.

Great wine for the price.

Had it over a lot of mountain cheese. Really good.

Fantastic, fresh as can be! Mild smoke and dark fruit with mild tannins.
