Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

Ruby color, slight purple edges, with aromas of red fruits, forest floor and smoky spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with cedar notes, tea, cola, black pepper, cinnamon spice and earthy herbs. Full-bodied, fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak and a spicy earthy character. Pair this with a grilled salmon or pork chop!

Nice full Pinot. But missing the RRV characteristics I hoped for. Was better day two… so maybe could use a bit of time.

Medium body, blackberry bomb.

Hard pressed to find a better AVA designated PN at this price.

Round and soft but notes of ripe plum nice acidity well balanced drinking here with Paul’s brother Matt Hobbs.

Just opened it, quick, ten-minute decant. Classic, opulent Paul Hobbs. Fruit just teems from the glass. I'm officially on Yumville with every evolving sip. 2011, so far, is a comeback. And in a big and welcome way..
