Punching above its weight class, but that’s what I would expect from P&H. This 2017 is just a beauty right now. Wonderful scents of toasted almond, vanilla, and melon. Pear and green apple are complimented with some mint like herbaceousness and mineral strength. Really pretty.

Beauty. Hits above an entry Sonoma coast. Nicely balanced. A bit of oak, a bit of butter, a bit of acid, a bit of citrus, etc... all works.

P&H was founded in 1988 by industry professionals Donald Patz, James Hall, Anne Moses and Heather Patz. This is my second try of the 2015, just wonderful! Aromas of fresh ripe stone fruits and flinty and floral notes. On the palate fresh fruit flavors of apple, pear and sweet pineapple with savory toasty oak tones. Lingering finish ends with tangy citrus and smoky mineral notes. Outstanding.

P&H, founded in 1988 by industry folks Donald Patz, James Hall, Anne Moses and Heather Patz. Grapes were sourced from Gap's Crown and a new vineyard from winegrower Mark Sanchietti, as well as several other acclaimed vineyards. Complex aromas of stone, tropical and citrus fruit. On the palate melon, pineapple and lemon flavors, toasty & nutty notes with lively acidity, rich with great mouthfeel. Well balanced on lingering finish ending with mineral tones. Larger production allow this wine to be enjoyed now.

Poached pear tart, and rugged minerality upon opening. Evolves into focus with time; succulent orchard fruit, refined vanilla oak, and cleansing acidity. Aromatic, generous, and bright throughout.

Shift in style for 2013 chardonnay is apparent. Gone is the lavish buttery character--this is just gorgeous. Nose is very Chassagne-Montrachetesque: piña colada, orange blossom, pomaceous fruit soar in the glass, full creamy palate balanced by perfect acidity, nice mineral-coated mouthfeel with a bite reminiscent of green pear w skin on. Finishes with power and finesse. A+.

Another great Chard. Loving me some Patz and Hall. Does have some time to age and I think it'll be even more lovely in a few years.&

I'm not much of a Chardonnay drinker at the moment but this is great. Love it!
