This site was, at one time a moonshiner site, subsequently planted by Charlie Chenoweth with Pinot Noir. Medium Ruby color with aromas of dark berry fruits with notes of herbs, citrus, herb and spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, ripe strawberry and cherry with espresso, vanilla and herb tea spice, well balanced with acidity. Fine tannins on a long finish ending with cedar, baking spices and earthy character. Very nice!

Dried rose and sassafras on the nose. Lush texture across the palate. Cleaning acidity showing ripe berry and floral flavors. Soft lingering finish.

Nice presentation visually and on the nose. Bright notes of cola and redcurrants waft up from the glass. On the palette, the wine is lithe and smooth, consistent with the nose, with a whisper of spices. Surprisingly, tannins are already fully integrated. As a result, we feel it is missing layers and complexity. Good stuff all the same!
