Definitely needs time....and I just don't feel like this has the kind of energy I'm really looking for in grand Cru Chablis. Just slightly on the not for the money side right now...but I definitely enjoyed it.

Apr 23rd, 2017Best Piuze I've had in awhile. Fresh off an airplane too! Just growing in weight and complexity as it opens. It's still young in age, and drinking more how I would expect a 2011 or older to drink, but not in a retiring way or anything. I guess what I'm saying is that there is nothing missing here for me, and I'm not sure that Piuze's wines get better than this kind of showing.

Dec 29th, 2016Interesting, citrusy, racy chablis. Pleasant minerality, even a bit creamy. Vanilla, tart, green apple, maybe violets? :) I like it, but would give it 2-3 years.
