For me a bit too much sweetness, almost cloying. Miss the grip of a great Chablis, strange for a 2019.

After a very disappointing 2014 Les Preuses for lunch wanted to make sure I hadn’t lost faith in Piuze. So tried this for dinner and this time from a perfect wine cellar 😀. This a quite a different bottle, saline, pear, flint and medium weight. The 2014 was a fluke😀

Another exceptional bottle. Threw this in the decanter, which really helped the fruit express itself and let the wine gain some weight. Long, effortless acidity on top of soft, textured ripe citrus and white peach. Truly lovely and uniform.

Lemon, herbs, lacking acid and cut. Snoozy to me and was last bottle. Consistent over many hours.

Wine is not ready, closed. Very good promise, medium bodied, flint, beewax, salty ending. Wait 2 to 3 years.

Lemon curd, Chablis flintiness, electric acidity, quite nice

Amazing! Had this wine back when it was released and the acidity in it muted its fruit, but was still great. Now, the fruit is showing beautifully. Very well made wine.

Oh 2009, you are so bold. Great wine. More concentrated, complex on the nose, but without the mineral biteback. Sort of has everything amped up, so iodine, wow.

Great structure. Probably should've decanted. Layered evolution through flinty minerality, green apples, white peach, gooseberry, lemon curd. Long mid palate through finish with weighty reminders of the Burgundian wine this is. Stunner.
