Dark cherry, tea notes, rich and big, Crushed marble. Plenty of tannins left could run for 5 more years. See my previous notes as well this is excellent and how Burgundy should be. 13.5%.

Pretty nose. Opened up over an hour or so, but remained fairly tight. I’d like to see this in a more generous vintage as this has some class.

I am a fan of Les Suchots, but this particular bottle was quite odd experience. Meaty and dark, very fruit-forward and even smoky (although I suspect the bottle was quite reduced). It's definitely way too young, with very green tannins that overpower everything else. I wish it was decanted for the tasting since that tannic grip made me not finish a glass of it.

2013 Les Suchots. Some polish and black fruits. Nice on the entry and some complexity. Fine grained tannins and good Length. Delicious.
