I imagine that the Jolivet family felt extremely conflicted with this vintage as I am when I dive in. It might be from Sancerre, but it's cross dressing as a New world Sauvignon. Jalapeño pepper for days and ripe ripe fruit. Good acidity and minerality. Extremely disappointed especially considering how great there previous years have been.

Very modern and fruit driven Sancerre. Simple, tropical, some texture and minerality but very tame. Something to sway the Marlborogh lovers out there.

Solid but a bit too aggressive for my taste. Indelicate?

A bright, slightly acidic sancerre. Try with a sharp cheddar to cut it like a surgeon doing rhinoplasty. Not one to drink without a good something to go with it.
