Pale lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits. On the palate apple and pear flavors with lemon citrus curd. Medium finish, good acidity ending with fruit and mineral character.

An easy drinking Chardonnay from Italy. Dry and crisp with a tangy finish.

Showing over ripen citrus fruits, lemons, green apples, light grapefruits and minerals.

Medium finish with bitter almonds.

Good by itself or with food and needs to be very chilled.

This 4 year old Chardonnay is over the hill by now, but it is still enjoyable.

I paired it with cheeses and light appetizers.

12.5% alcohol by volume.

86 points.

$20.

Very interesting take on chardonnay. It drank a little like St. Veran, but more lifted. Very soft aromatics - candied lemon, Jasmine, and green apple peel. The pallet has some bright acidity, but a creamy feel. Not one to have heavy oak influences - lemon cream puff, gala apple, mineral, and a soft touch of vanilla. This was a great choice for dinner: Catfish with plum sauce.

I really wanted to like this since I haven't had much by the way of Piedmont Chardonnay, but alas, it didn't do it for me. I appreciate Burgundian style chardonnays as much as the next guy, but unfortunately this was just way too lean. No oak presence at all, seemingly no malo at all, just acid and a little bit of fruit. Very boring imo.

Italian Chardonnay (especially from Piemonte) continues to be one of the best kept secrets.
