Ripe Nebbiolo fruit in the forefront with good varietal character and a decent earty complexity. Balanced and good structure with defined, but approachable tannins, lacking somewhat in intensity and length.

Saturday nights all right for wine. I have opened the 2015 Paolo Scavino Langhe Nebbiolo 14.5% Alc. by Vol.

On the nose there is cherry, raspberry, anise, mint, rose petal, light leather and dry soil.

Upon first sip this is a dry wine on the palate with tart cherries, raspberry, anise, floral notes, herbaceousness and an earthy component.

A medium to.full bodied wine with medium + acidity and medium + gripping tannins that leads to a pleasingly clean long finish. This can definitely use more time in the bottle and can only improve over time. Enjoy your rest of the weekend and continue to be safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Hits all the right notes. Tannins fairly well integrated.

Thin. Sour cherry, but barely. Disappointing.

Uncomplicated, light, and pleasant. Strawberry and red cherry are primary on the palate, leading to a short, clean finish.

This wine has a great grape-typical nose and balanced initial mouthfeel, but is overpowered midpalate by an enormous tannin structure that continues into an astringent sandy finish.
