Decanted 3 hours before serving. Quiet nose. A bit dusty. Notes of black cherry, some tobacco leaf, a bit of plum, some wood and some spice. The nose correlates to the mouth feel - tannins are integrated, but this is a bit muted in its delivery. Doubt this gets much better from here and is ready to drink.

Gorgeous wine. Tannins hang in the background with a powdery presence. Fruit has settled into the foreground...everything in balance.
