Young, bright Barbera. Very drinkable with some early black fruits and currants. Give you more length than a Asti. If you're looking for a nice pizza and pasta night, this will deliver.

This was a juice bomb, fruit forward, but raw tannins. I wanted to try a young vintage but this needs a great deal of time in ideal aging conditions to soften tannins. My rating reflects the young vintage, not the quality of the wine!

Cranberry and orange. Sour fruit and tannin. Not enormously enjoyable. Probably better with age. Or possible a bit warmer and more air.
