2014 has good acidity with soft peach. Loved it with mussels in white wine and seafood risotto.

This was one helluva tasty Friday night! I matched this bottle of crisp Palladino 2017 Gavi DOCG Italian white wine and homemade risotto primavera (spring veggie risotto) with crispy prosciutto 👌👌
Gavi is made from the Cortese grape variety and hails from the Piedmont region in northwest Italy.

It’s a pretty fresh yellow colour in the glass. I found it deliciously aromatic with honey blossoms, crisp pears and fruity golden apples on the nose. In the mouth it’s very easy drinking with wonderful acidity and flavours of a pear and lemon curd tart. Beautiful match with the risotto primavera 🇮🇹
