Had with lamb and the wine structure didn’t hold up to the food.

Mar 16th, 2018A interesting blend of 88% Garnacha & 12% Tempranillo grapes which is medium bodied. Nose of fig, clove, and autumn leaves with the pallate adding flavors of raspberry sauce with a tinge of sweetness. A perfect pairing with cinnamon & paprika spiced pork chops topped with a cherry sauce and mashed potatoes. ($18) [10/16/18]

Jul 2nd, 2022Very closed and reductive for first hour. Finally starts to open up with red bramble fruit, dried rose petals, forest floor and firm tannins on the finish, framed with solid acidity.

Mar 27th, 2021Spain, rioja that is good but not great. I think it is technically higher rated than the Campo Viejo but I preferred the latter. I get hints of strawberry in this one. 14.5% alc by vol.
