Classic Chianti Classico flavor profile in a broad-shouldered package. Nose shows dried cherry, cedar and forest floor, stony gravel. Mouthfilling, with good concentration for an annata, flavors fruity at first and then quickly turning savory and minerally. Light tannin, good middle-of-the-road acidity. Medium long finish. Great value.

Dusty Firenze cellar, the nose is unmistakable.
Hazelnut dust, pomegranate, black cherry, all held together with sharp and enjoyable Buddha palm acidity, some cigar box tannins.
The grilled pizza did not turn out so well, luckily the wine has made up for it!

A super-classic Chianti Classico based on Sangiovese with dollops of Canaiolo, Mammolo and Colorino aged in cask. Bright, red-toned fruit and an array of floral/savory notes are nicely delineated, but the wine's purity and extraordinary balance elevate it into the realm of the sublime.
