Popped and poured. Bright ruby in the glass. Fresh cherries, dried herbs and leather on the nose. Bright cherries, black tea and leather on the palate. Light and lean but impeccably polished. Definitely more on the elegant side of BdM. My first Padelletti and I’m sufficiently intrigued to seek out more.

Unknown to me. Apparently they didn't sell in the US back then. Acquired through a private cellar by the owner. Fantastic stuff. mature but still with plenty of youthful fruit. Great opaque ruby color. Just a hint of tertiary/sous bois on the finish.

Holy cow! 2012 is the year and this bottle is my first from this vineyard. Earthy nose with a white pepper finish. Will seek out more and maybe 2013 too
