Oyster Bay is situated in the picturesque headlands of the Marlborough Sounds. Pale lemon with aromas of stone fruit aromas and citrus notes. On the palate apple flavors with oak and creamy mineral tones. Medium finish, not overly complex, good value. Consistent quality.

I felt like a Chardonnay this afternoon and it is from NZ. This wine as does most of the wines down under have a screw top. At first crack on the nose I am getting citrus notes, lemon, pineapple, white flowers, a bit of minerality, vanilla, Creme Brûlée, and some butter. On the palate I am getting passion fruit, pineapple, lemon zest, wet flint rock, and an oily mouth feel. There is a Med + acidity and a long nice finish, very crisp and fresh. Let me tell you at $9.99 what I paid Oyster Bay has a winner. I like there Pinot Noir and the Chardonnay is a great QPR.

The first Oyster Bay vines were planted in 1988, taking its name from the local Oyster Bay, situated in the picturesque headlands of the Marlborough Sounds. Ripe stone fruit aromas and citrus notes. On the palate apple flavors with oak and creamy mineral tones. Medium finish, not overly complex, good value. Tasting Sample.

No Malo. Has some acidic bite. More food friendly.

Масло, тост, сдоба, цитрусовые тона, грейпфрут. Классический шардоне с большим дубом.

Inherited from the kitchen of my in-laws, this actually hasn't aged as badly as I would have expected. Slightly sweeter than expected. Nice mineral and flinty notes.
