Oct 15th, 2021Immediately showing its 14.1% abv. Strawberry jam with lots of vanilla and clove. This is a tasty wine that I’ve always enjoyed and it was a no brainer grab at $23.99. Certainly a bit hot. Jamminess leans into its Grenache makeup. Tasty wine but $30 might be a bit much, as if it were a stock.

Aug 1st, 2021Nose is quite complex, with lilies, sweet red berry juice, smoldering cinders, and sandstone. It attacks the palate with flavors and sensations but not weight. Intense cracked stone minerality, dark piercing cherry fruit, a slightly bitter note to balance the lingering finish. A really good value and flexible wine. Definitely showing its majority Grenache make-up.

Nov 28th, 2017This is a real crowd pleaser the the wine geek would also appreciate. Rich plum and blackberry with 14.1% abv, but not over ripe. Nice, lingering finish. Not terribly complex, but pleasing. Fantastic family wine...that you will enjoy too.

May 18th, 2017Oh, so sinister! Nice break from Cab, this WA GSM blend doasts good spice and acidity with dried plum and cranberry flavors. Benefited from age, but could still drink well over the next 5-8 years.
