This is a Merlot based blend, with Cab Sauv and Cab Franc, not sure why the wine is tagged as a Sangiovese blend. Drink this on its own. It is a bold papi.

Super buttery nose. Tannins are a little too front-and-center, overpowering the fruit. Will probably be great in 3-5 years.

Steak gives it a more fruity profile. By itself, tastes like a chianti, but with more depth befitting a higher-priced wine. Has the typical Italian wine notes of refreshingly tangy followed by tart like biting into a citrus fruit, and a floral nose. Short finish.
