Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

This needed 24 hours of air to really open up. At first it was fine — not THAT big. But after a day it was much more balanced and nuanced. At $20 you can’t argue with the price for a Cali cab.

Full bodied, high tannins. Flavors of chocolate covered raisins, leather, black cherry, plum, vanilla and baking spices.

Smooth and buttery. An amazing balance of cherry, tannin, oak, and baking spice. Not sure how long its been open... I ordered a glass at a wine bar... But I don't think it could get more delicious than this.

Buttery, oak, licorice notes, low acidity, warm great finish

Acidic, great fruit, black pepper,

Medium to deep purple. Strawberry rhubarb pie nose, with distinct pastry character. Not too sweet or jammy, thankfully. Palate of red fruits, oak, coffee. Easy tannins. Pretty good, would get again. From Concord Marketplace.
