2017 deg. Great way to start this NYE Champagne tasting! Acid and mineral in spades. I’m craving the toasty tonight, so still looking forward to the others.

Medium straw . Quite green fruit nose , quince , bruised apple , white flowers . On the palate more strict quince fruit with a prominent mineral , chalky , oyster shell notes . Orange peel , white pepper on the finish with decent length with saline tinge . Really quite distinct, for drinking now and over the next 5-7 years .

Disgorged May 2018. A masterpiece. Aromatics are sweet citrus with a hint of tarragon. The palate is coated with white peach & crisp lemon. I’m amazed at how generous this is right from the pop. Texturally elegant and finessed. This is a great bottle of Champagne.
